We have written to the Chancellor of the Exchequer warning that the UK ELT industry is facing an "existential threat" from Coronavirus (Covid-19) and appealing for urgent help from the Treasury.

Two of our member centres, The English Studio in London and BLC (Bristol Language Centre) have recently informed us that they have ceased trading.

On 24 March the Home Office announced provisions for international students who are unable to leave the UK.
